Spacy track I made today
 in  r/synthesizers  5d ago

Today I had free time to finish a sketch that I had in my sequencer.

Gear used:
Bass.....JT MINI
Arp.......TD-3-MO + modulation from eurorack
Pad 1....PRO-800
Pad 2....PRO VS MINI
Drums...TR-8S

Also bunch of pedals for distortion, chorus, reverb and delay.

Recorded in one take. More fx and polishing in ableton live.

I'm happy how it turned out!

Enjoy!

Is "morres" an alternative to "moi"?
 in  r/LearnFinnish  14d ago

You cannot reapeat morjes for goodbyes but you can definetly say morjes as a goodbye. At least in Tampere area this is happening all the time. Se om morjens!

The seven sisters exhibition at Vapriikkki is really good. https://www.vapriikki.fi/en/exhibition/songlines-tracking-the-seven-sisters/

I made a new track. 4 modular voices, drumbrute impact, arranged live with keystep pro.

Drums are coming from drumbrute impact. It is a drum machine with a sequencer.

Seeking Feedback on My Generative Ambient Modular Tracks – Open to All Advice!
 in  r/eurorack  Feb 05 '25

I dont know what kind of techniques you are using but here are some of my thoughts:

  • Sample & hold. Send sequence's pitch cv to s&h (quantizers are more reliable with pitch cv) and sample it using a division of the rhythm of the original sequence. I use this technique to get a second sequence from my main sequence. If the main seq is melody the s&h seq could be bass for example. When you change the main melody the second seq follows. This way the generated sequences are always in relation harmonically to each other.

  • Create interfaces. Random stuff can be nice but they are random. Patch your stuff so that there are places to have hands on control. For example part of the rhythm could be random but you could have some hands on control over it also. I prefer it this way since it becomes easier to guide the energy of the music - to create tension and release.

  • Mute is an interface. Volume knob is an interface. Patch a bomb button.

  • When your patch is ready, play with it. Study what kind of atmospheres, textures etc are available. When you think you are ready, hit record and perform. Go for a journey. Happy? Unpatch and start from nothing.

By the sound of it you have your thing going on. Keep on patching! 🌞

Help me configuring my first modular system

No sequencer in 2600. You'd have to use midi or cv inputs.

Help me configuring my first modular system
 in  r/eurorack  Feb 05 '25

I'd say your plan looks alright. I did not recognize what all the modules are doing but here are things that came in to my mind:

  • Filters. Two of the same kind or two different filters? Filter character matters.

  • Is there enough mixers to combine modulation sources and layers of sound?

  • Making lively patches requires multiple modulation sources and to make sound even more alive you patch modulation through vca and modulate the vca. Is there enough modulation sources (function generators, lfos, envelopes) and vcas?

You could look what some semimodular synths have eaten to get ideas what you might need. If I would start from the begining now with my knowledge, I'd get Behringer 2600.

Any ways like I said your plan looks solid. When you get going you realise quite fast what you need to add or change in your system. Have fun!

Leivän parasta ennen päiväys
 in  r/arkisuomi  Feb 04 '25

Ostan usein ilta-alesta leipää. Kosteammat leivät homehtuu nopeammin kuin kuivemmat. Kun olen jättänyt pussin auki ja irroitellut leivän palasia toisistaan, leipä on säilynyt pidempään.

On a mission to figure out ways to process synths through eurorack. Adding layers, modulation and feedback turned in to this track.

Sports Systeman harjoittelu Tampereella?

Minua kiinnostaisi systeman harjoittelu, mutta en löydä paikallisen yhdistyksen yhteystietoja netistä. Sain selville kaupungin liikuntapaikkojen varauskalenterista, että harjoituksia on Ratinan stadionin saleissa. Kuinka pääsisi mukaan harjoittelemaan? Voiko vain ilmestyä paikalle vai tulla peruskurssin kautta vai miten? Keneltä asiaa voisi edes kysyä?

Wondering what could be done to incentivize players over to COH3.
 in  r/CompanyOfHeroes  Sep 09 '24

The game is not very complicated to learn but the information how to do it is somewhat limited. The game needs more ingame encyclopedia sort of content and tutorials. Like how the early game infantry matchup goes, is this unit good at close or long range etc.

Just yesterday I was watching replays and was wishing to see stats for the units to get a better understanding which way a fight goes. It takes a lot of games to get the gut feeling of these things without seeing the stats.

A good way to get new players in is to teach the game to a friend.

The ping button is not meant for you to control other player's units
 in  r/CompanyOfHeroes  Sep 08 '24

In dota2 the ping system is quite good. You can communicate lots of stuff through easy key combos. Something similiar could be nice in coh3. Also the system where you press alt and see the range of your skills and other stuff is nice too.

I noodled with modular after a long break. Before this I had been working with my desktop synths and it was so nice realise how much more can be done in my eurorack. Especially the amount of modulation possibilities are so much higher. Like I have an idea how to make a voice sound better and then I can just patch it 😄

I created two voices in euro, bass and arp. The other sounds are coming from behringer td-3-mo and pro Vsmini and roland tr-8s.

Composed some sequences with keystep pro and wiggled for a while, enjoy!

Crashing after the most recent update?
 in  r/CompanyOfHeroes  Jul 23 '24

I tried lower graphic settings and lower audio quality. It did not help. Now I went back to high graphics and audio, but capped frames to 60. Played 3 games in row without crashing, omg.

Crashing after the most recent update?
 in  r/CompanyOfHeroes  Jul 22 '24

My game has been crashing for months. I gave the new patch some hope and turned of memory xmp profile and msi afterburner. It helped maybe slightly but my matches end prematurely in crashes more than I'm actually enable to play a full match. It's sad. I really enjoy the gameplay but the constant crashing eats away my fun.

r/CompanyOfHeroes Apr 21 '24

CoH3 COH3 has been crashing lately.

The title says it. Have you been experiencing crashes? I just had two 2v2s in Elst outskirts and both of the games crashed after a few minutes. Frustrating. Good thing is that it's just a game. Good luck have fun!

Jammin a track. Using eurorack to process drummachine and desktop synths.
 in  r/eurorack  Apr 05 '24

Diy is cheap if you dont count your hours as money. And like you said it is a chance learn new skills. To be honest if I see a really good deal nowadays I buy the module rather than diy.

I have only music on youtube.
