Akathisia frustration.
 in  r/schizophrenia  1d ago

I get this I think from a side effect of the nearly 10 years of Quitiapine. I have ADHD so was always fidgety but it's stops me sleeping now. I have been of the medication like 3 years now and it didn't ease. I go on very long walks and sleep sat up in bed now and it helps a bit. It's like my knees don't ever want to be still.

AIO [15M] asking my gf [14F] to take a break

At your age I was still definitely a child. You seem much more mature than I was but at your age focus on education and yourself. I would avoid the drama.

Have you ever been high while using an umbrella? It's really good.
 in  r/weed  2d ago

I love going for a walk in the rain while smoking with a giant golf umbrella straped to my bag. It's a game changer lol, boots and waterproofs and it's magical. And you have 2 hands free for a beer and joint.

What to do with half a pound?
 in  r/abv  3d ago

I'll have to try the taste can be awful with my current method. It works though and can make non animated TV look animated. That's the main side effect of avb for me, tv looks animated and Im chilled as fuck.

Why aren't Coloured people teaching their kids Afrikaans?
 in  r/afrikaans  8d ago

I'm English and speak very differently than others in London and especially Scotland Ireland and Wales. I have a very stereotype local accent to my area. Even things like the word dinner means midday meal to me and late meal to others. I call sandwiches buttys and lots of other weird little things. I have family origins in Scotland and Ireland so I have passed on from that over the years. Language is fascinating.

I mix mine with high fat yogurt and loads of jam. Goes down fine and the jam really makes it taste ok. The farts are unbelievable though lol. Takes like an hour and a half to zkick in.

De-bloating Windows 11 script on my Dual-boot ?
 in  r/linuxquestions  9d ago

You beat me to it :) I've used his stuff for very similar reasons. A no internet connection debloated windows for old games. I definitely recommend looking into it. I've not used windows heavily since xp so it was weird going back recently and it really is bloated.

Seeing this fed-up looking young heron standing on a Lucozade bottle on Thursday morning really saddened me…
 in  r/CasualUK  9d ago

It's horrible here too. I regularly sit at a lake nearby and usually sit in the same spot but also I clean up all the bottles left. Always more every week.

Should I tell my assessor about my alcohol intake?
 in  r/ADHDUK  17d ago

I was honest about my cannabis use and how much. I was still diagnosed and currently waiting for them to get back to me after very recently being sent for an ECG I think it's called. I know it's different but I'll let you know if it's mentioned. I also would be willing to stop if they think it's incompatible with medication.

It's interesting how much Sauron is the opposite of Morgoth
 in  r/tolkienfans  17d ago

Wouldn't you have to destroy Morgoths ring to effect him in the same way?

My Uncle Worked for NASA and Here’s What He Said About the Moon Landing
 in  r/stories  20d ago

It's like an argument I had with a friend about ALL vaccinations being useless. How many people would have to be involved in the lie about it not to even mention things like smallpox. I think it's some kind of superiority thing, they don't understand it so others must be wrong or worse.

thoughts on shrooms?
 in  r/weed  20d ago

Not for me at all but I suffered from medical condition/medication side effect hallucinations. I would go into it too scared to enjoy it possibly.
