Do I need a refret?

Take a close look at that 1st fret at the B string. That's a big dent.

He spoke about this briefly on the podcast. He said he knew a guy that he basically based this character on.

He said the guy doesn't know he did this, to this day.

What was the reaction at the time to the ending
 in  r/thesopranos  5d ago

At the time I remember people saying it was a "choose your own ending" ending. That made me feel like it was a cop out. Once I learned that all the clues are there, I was floored. There will never be a better ending to a series.

The collective reaction was not great. The ending itself was perfect. I think it was just misunderstood.

And then in the weeks following "It's over" became a catch phrase. Anybody who wanted to talk about sopranos was met with "It's over!" as if the ending of the show meant I was supposed to move on.

The entirety of the country thought their cable went out. Then when the credits rolled people slowly understood it was intentional. And the next day all anyone was talking about on television, the radio, etc, was that they thought their cable went out.

Had Tony allowed Richie to pull Davey out of that poker game, the end result would have been better for Davey.
 in  r/thesopranos  5d ago

How many times did Tony tell Davie no though? I would say he told him No at least 5 times between the conversation at the school and then again at the hotel. At some point, you just got to let a muthafucka make his own mistakes. He is a hawk after all. The cobwebs have now been removed.

Bridge Repair
 in  r/guitarrepair  5d ago

See if you can slide a piece of paper in there.
I can't tell if its really a crack or if its a score line in the finish from when they placed the bridge. It looks very uniform when you zoom in. Like it was done with a tool. Is the bridge itself lifting? I'm not sure how much it costs to remove and reglue a bridge. I would probably release string tension every time I put the guitar away though in the mean time. If you can't fit a piece of paper in there I would not consider the situation to be dire.
