Yes :) or at least it is very common in Italy :).

My bf never told me had a vasectomy.
 in  r/TrueOffMyChest  6d ago

Though this is obviously true- that’s not the point. He lied to her and let her think that they were just struggling to conceive.

That is horrible. We have a limited time to naturally have children and the chances dwindle as we get older. The best eggs are released earlier and we are left with lesser quality of eggs. It takes time to find a partner who you trust to have a family with.

Not only had this man lied to you but he has wasted your time to find someone who wants what you want AND the time to reproduce with that person.

Figure this one out

Does she have bpd or is that just something you are questioning without anything to actually back it up because that is a pretty sh-tty assumption example if she doesn’t have it.

I’m 34, I’m dying, and I’m fucking terrified.

I think if the daughter chooses at each of the milestones then it will be fine. Her mom could always have the ones she missed stored away so one day the daughter may choose to go back when she is ready.

Here to back up the video tips. They could mean the absolute world to OP’s daughter and loved ones.

Also, 1cilldude, I’m sorry that you and your family are going through the same thing. It’s beyond unfair.

Library cards from every county in Maryland

My fave is from my home county in Washington State and I hate that I have the account but can't get a new card because I don't live there. https://www.facebook.com/SnoIsleLibraries/posts/-sprout-new-adventures-with-a-library-card-stop-by-your-local-library-to-pick-up/971711955000944/

Anyone hiring at a livable wage with little experience?
 in  r/frederickmd  13d ago

I mean it has been less than 24hrs and not everyone has this app open on all day or even notifications turned on. Just because they asked the question doesn’t mean they are sitting and waiting to respond after every comment.

I love nuts and seeds and all but I’m feeling for the people with nut allergies. You don’t have to eat something with nuts to have an allergic reaction.

{Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams} is not a good starting point for guys

Honestly the Romance for Men subreddit stresses me out. I want more men/cis men to read romance books, any kind, but a lot of the recs on there are questionable. Even to my husband.

2nd hand smart home issues
 in  r/drhorton  20d ago

update- I think the Deako switches are "simple" and not the smart ones despite what DR advertises for the newer build projects so I am not too worried about those connecting to anything lol

Yeah, I know they are switches but I wasn't sure if the effect the lights' connection. I am using smart bulbs that work with Alexa/Echo.
I have tried to connect the Deako switches but the Deako app doesn't seem to detect them.

And I found out about the Alarm.com aspect of the IQ panel and it immediately turned me off from using it.

It is good to know that the Echo hub works with Z-wave. Thank you.

2nd hand smart home issues

We just bought a (just under) 2yr old build. The original owners didn't use much smart home-wise nor did they leave any info. Our old rental had some smart home features set up and we added some of our own (not a DR property). We aren't planning to use the IQ panel and will be getting our own z-wave hub. We do prefer to use smart lights through Alexa/Echo (I know, Amazon sucks). It has been a fruitless endeavor. We can't connect our lights and it is driving me crazy. I am fairly tech literate so this has been frustrating. There is also a Flux smart light in the fan/lighting fixture in our living room.

Does anybody have any tips? There are Deako lights but they aren't connecting via the Deako app so I am not sure if they have smart capabilities.

We just reeeaaallly miss having smart lights and I don't really want to waste the investments that we made in our devices.

Second-hand embarrassment reading Quicksilver
 in  r/fantasyromance  Mar 01 '25

To be fair- it isn’t talked about enough but real life humans can sometimes smell arousal too. Just like how some know the smell of someone after they’ve had sex. Like even random people that you don’t know. Some people don’t. Some people just don’t realize that is what they are smelling and others are sensitive to smell and have just realized that it’s what they are smelling. It’s just not a strong thing like it is for these different fantasy creatures.

That’s why it’s mentioned in even books that aren’t fae/vamp/werewolf related. Because it’s a real thing. Historically those types of fantastical characters just generally have stronger senses.

Omg the Renesme kids. I forgot about them. I wonder how they’re all doing since Twilight has been a little more present in media, again, over the last couple of years…
