"Oblivion Remake Could Be Released Tomorrow, It’s Claimed" Has Been Updated
 in  r/ElderScrolls  1d ago

That's not when it started. Someone who was working at Virtuos claimed they were making it months before the court documents came out, so it was still in development at least at that point.

This guy is not a known reputable leaker btw, they appear to be just someone jumping on the bandwagon. It's better not to post their stuff that isn't backed by anyone who actually knows things.

Oblivion remaster is real and coming very soon, just be patient.

My prediction is that Prime 4 will sell very well. Why? The series is starting to become popular. (My predictions for the future of the series)
 in  r/Metroid  1d ago

It's definitely possible but it is really not looking good for the Switch 2 in general right now, especially in the US, and it's hard to guess how much of a demand Switch 1 titles will be after it comes out. The US is also one of the biggest markets for a FPS game like this so we'll have to wait and see what happens.

I do hope Prime 4 does well at least the Switch 1 version though but all of these games are going to have a much tougher time than Switch launch year titles.

Metroid Prime 2 & 3 remaster theory
 in  r/Metroid  2d ago

I think it was just shelved like TPHD and WWHD's Switch ports. It's possible they're still sitting on them but I'm not sure anymore.

Physical Nintendo Switch 2 Edition games are reportedly Switch 1 carts with codes in the box
 in  r/Games  2d ago

People are saying this was written on the box but nothing on the box says it requires downloading or internet, let alone that it's just a code. I personally just assumed it was something like a cross compatible cartridge.

Either way this effectively means as soon as the Switch 2 eShop is turned off the Switch 2 versions of these games like Prime 4 will be completely unobtainable even from resellers. You will have to resort to modding your system or hope an emulator exists.

(SPOILER) Donkey Kong Bananza Leak

So is this a prequel to DK? But how if Cranky is also in the game as an NPC?

Same exact issue here, who region locks stuff like that?! Is there any fix?

Looks like we wont be ordering Switch 2 next week after all
 in  r/nintendo  2d ago

The Switch 2 is the only console launching however

First thing I thought of when I saw the new design
 in  r/Metroid  3d ago

That's the Halo 5 artist as the art director for you lol. The armor design of those games are extremely controversial within the Halo community.

Can we talk about the new design of the federation troops?
 in  r/Metroid  3d ago

That's certainly an ex 343 artist, I can feel the Halo 5 in the greebling lol

I'm so disappointed in grand prix
 in  r/mariokart  3d ago

With tax it's closer to $90 than $80 for me at least.

Oblivion Remake Now Coming "This week or next"
 in  r/GamingLeaksAndRumours  3d ago

What backtracking? They said this immediately. I don't know how reliable this person is but let's not be dishonest here.

I'm just going to wait for someone I actually know has information to say something anyways.

Nintendo's Switch 2 Treehouse Livestream Is Just a Flood of Angry Comments Shouting "DROP the PRICE" - IGN
 in  r/Games  4d ago

Also charging for the console demo game and paywalling basic things like voice chat that's free on every other system. Things that were already unreasonable to charge for like save backups also have to be accounted for here. You also have to buy new MicroSD cards that are twice the price of the old ones.

New Look
 in  r/Birdo  4d ago

Love the new design. Way more SNES style for everyone (except for DK.) It's odd how the renders don't really represent the characters that well since Wonder but the in-game models look great.

Sadly I won't be able to afford the system/game at all unless I can get a good trade-in deal or something. Just far too expensive.

Donatello Yellow Mask?

Fortnite also. Casey Jones, Jennika, Bebop and Rocksteady are my wants for that. Sadly I could never afford the COD bundles.

Could we see some of their history to verify that they are reliable? I've never heard of either until now.

Nintendo Switch 2’s ‘Editions’ of Switch games like Zelda and Kirby cost $80
 in  r/Games  4d ago

The Switch 2 was honestly one of the easiest wins of all time. They definitely seemed to have tried to have taken advantage of that and milked consumers for all they think they could get away with.

I can only hope it severely backfires like the 3DS launch as soon as it hits the average consumer. It's insane how Nintendo went from the affordable option to the only time I've ever been just priced out of a console ecosystem completely.

Will You Be Purchasing The Switch 1 or Switch 2 Version Of Prime 4?
 in  r/Metroid  4d ago

Switch 1. Not going to pay the exorbitant prices for the Switch 2. If they go 3ds and drop them later then sure, but it's ridiculous currently and feels unsustainable.

3

JESUS CHRIST $80!!?
 in  r/mariokart  5d ago

This might be the first Mario Kart/Nintendo system I just skip entirely unless a price drop happens. Everything about it is straight up far too expensive. Even the MicroSD cards cost twice as much now, and you can't use your existing ones!

Nintendo Switch 2 News Discussion
 in  r/SteamDeck  5d ago

Yep it went from pre-order to probably not touching barring a price reduction/trade in and hoping it's not as successful for the sake of the industry. Everything about this system is expensive, even the storage is MicroSD Express exclusive so you're paying a ton.

Are people really making enough to afford to own and do anything with this? Especially families?

Well there goes my hype for the game, how do y'all feel about this?
 in  r/GirlGamers  5d ago

Yeah this just completely killed it for me too. I am especially not interested if I can't play on PC and have to pay for online.

If Fallout New Vegas doesn't get added to the Nintendo Switch 2, I'm finna crash out.
 in  r/falloutnewvegas  5d ago

The price gouging on the Switch 2 is insane it wouldn't be worth it anyways

Nintendo Switch 2’s Mario Kart World will cost $80 / £75
 in  r/Games  5d ago

$90 physically! This console seems like a plague on the industry worse than even the Xbox One. Every single thing is nickel and dimed and inflated to an absurd price. Who can even afford to own it?

Hypothetically if IDW lost the comic rights (it was renewed last year so don't worry) who do you want to get it and why?
 in  r/TMNT  5d ago

I don't want IDW TMNT to end, but if it did probably Image Comics or their subsidiary Skybound. It's be a really hard sell to get me invested in a new TMNT comic starting completely from scratch though with IDW being as good as it is.
