The bullet penetration / wallbanging in this game needs a complete rework
 in  r/ReadyOrNotGame  Sep 09 '24

Maybe just giving suspects weapons a crazy accuracy penalty/ max spread when not having LOS could be an halfway fix if they arent ready to touch their x-ray vision yet

It is said that when the danes where christened, the trolls fled to the norwegian mountains to get away from the chimes of the church bells.

My players want to start a dairy farm, help!
 in  r/osr  Apr 12 '24

The four-assed calf is born. A local farm burns down. Milk starts to turn sour and cause hallucinations. Weird people/cats/goats start to visit the calf at night and day. The void amongst the stars grows. If the calf is no more, pc’s periodically starts lactating and have an unexplainable hunger for grass. Bulging stomachs with hoofprints. Five asses.

Regeringen vil forlænge værnepligten og styrke forsvaret med et tocifret milliardbeløb
 in  r/Denmark  Mar 13 '24

I think the sniper class weapons should have medium armor pen
 in  r/Helldivers  Mar 12 '24

I have an idea: they have the same amount of health, but the more damaged they are, the more likely they are of being dudds -> not firing -> misfiring/backfire with somewhere from 100-1% damage to the devastator + ajacent. This makes damaged enemy weaponsystems more unpredictable in their danger, while still strategically advantagegous to damage.

A convenient optional submenu when pinging would be nice. Could split into Engage/Caution/Avoid or something

Is there a critical player mass that decides if a gaming community turns into a bunch of pseudo political parties?

If you want balance its easier to tweak the most salient unbalanced element first

How about Pelican upgrades ?
 in  r/Helldivers  Mar 05 '24

Cool progression, first you get a simple hatch for using your primary/secondary, then you can get LMG -> HMG -> quad HMG - a goddamn cannon. The problem with protection is still, if you die (and you will) will it count as an extraction? Im a fan of the “fuck around and find out” approach, but i can imagine it could cause some grief amongst players if they feel like others are throwing away a perfect game by (understandably) wanting to try the cool new toy

Nothing sucks more than loosing all your kit due to a botched landing in the middle of a patrol. Helldivers are replaceable, but gear are on cooldown.

Roughnecks voice pack

At first i figured “man that shouting and machismo would just not work in danish”, but a “realistic” translation with a more subdued/deadpan tone in a jutlandic dialect would be pretty hillarious

Why?
 in  r/Helldivers  Mar 05 '24

Hey, my ship is also the Fist of Science! Anyways, logistics and good weather are a privelege, not a right. Also Its to keep players from optimizing all the fun out of the game and keep them challenged by having to use your head and imagination when new situations arise.

Mounted machineguns would be so awesome. It could even be via an overhead weapon system if questions of whether the gunner should then still be vulnerable if shes still “in the fight” or not.
