Lol it's pretty ridiculous. Fun to make but I'm gonna stick to more realistic dicks from now on. This tree trunk was hard to work with

Audeze Maxwell - Disappointment (1 week use impression)

It's a shame cause the headset sounds REALLY good. But yeah it has some flaws. My side tone randomly started emitting a high pitched squealing noise every time I turn it on now. Unless I turn the sidetone level way down

Psychiatrist said it’s impossible to have ADHD if you’ve gotten good grades as a kid or have a successful career
 in  r/ADHD  Aug 14 '24

I got good grades through high-school because it was all very easy to me and I didn't have to study. Once I hit college is where things got hard. I never learned to properly study because things came easy to me growing up. And trying to read chapters for my classes was a CHORE. I'd have to read things over and over because it never stuck the first time. This Psychiatrist is full of it

If you learned something, was it a waste?

I just recently got into woodworking to build my own speakers. I definitely spent way too much money on tools versus just buying speakers. But I'm enjoying the process so I think it's worth it

Yeah they reach out either way. I interviewed June 10th and two weeks later my recruiter emailed to schedule a follow-up call. I was hopeful too but no luck unfortunately. Given the classic "you had lots of positive feedback but there's other candidates with more experience." Not trying to discourage you. You very well could get the job! Just letting you know my experience. Good luck! Report back either way

Who's building in fort wayne Indiana?

As others have said it's Google. I applied for a Data Center Tech spot there. Made it through the 3 interviews but wasn't offered the position

Who else was smart enough for university but failed because of ADHD/anxiety?
 in  r/ADHD  Jun 27 '24

I did really well in high school because I never had to study. Everything just kinda stuck. College was hard for me because it was the first time I actually had to study and take notes and I never learned how to properly do either in high-school. It was super hard to get myself to read assigned chapters etc. I didn't finish my degree until I was 30. After changing majors a couple times and taking a few years off of college. You've still got time

Gotcha gotcha. The last round was my 3 interviews. I got a few "that was a perfect answer" responses from the 3rd interviewer and plowed through all the technical questions so fast in the 2nd interview that he ran out of questions. So I hope that's a good sign. It's for a brand new data center location so I know there's going to be a lot of competition. Trying not to get my hopes up

Post Interview Opinions

I had my interviews with Google for an L1 Data Center Tech position last Monday, June 7th. It felt like it went REALLY well but I hadn't heard anything until today when my recruiter reached out to me to schedule a post interview follow-up call. He thanked me for being patient and apologized for how long the post interview process can take.

Is it a good sign that I'm getting a follow-up call? Or is that pretty standard procedure for a lot of jobs? I've never had a post interview follow-up call besides the actual job offer. Usually if I don't get the job I either get ghosted or sent a nice "Thanks, but no thanks" email shortly after the interview.

Any Google Data Center Techs in here that can tell me how their hiring process went post interviews?

Comment here if you experienced little to no side effects being on lexapro
 in  r/lexapro  May 24 '24

I didn't really have any side effects when I first started. Started at 10mg and went up to 20mg in 4 weeks. I maybe had a couple days at first where it was hard to fall asleep, but I was also prescribed hydroxyzine to help with sleep/anxiety. And I had a couple headaches that were bad but went away with Excedrin pretty easily

Edited to add: I also recently started Wellbutrin and I've noticed my hair is getting pretty thin. I can see my scalp at the front of my hairline. It's most likely from the Wellbutrin but I figured I should add that.

I don’t like who I am on Lexapro and I don’t like who I am off of it.
 in  r/lexapro  May 10 '24

Ask about adding Wellbutrin. I added it a month ago and it's been great. I feel more motivated to do things and I've slowly been losing weight.
