"Master succubist" - Fix a complex wound VAC leak using only carefully placed tegaderms.

"Ostometrist" - Change a leaking ostomy in under 3 minutes.

"Telepath" - Convince a delirious 98 y/o nema that she isn't late for her flight and to lay back down and go to sleep.

"Pissed off" - care for 2 patients with wide open CBIs on nights as well as 7 other patients and no techs.

"You're killing me" - work 5 straight 12 hour day shifts in a row.

I wish someone would fire me as their nurse sometimes. I usually inherit the patients who do the firing. 😿

Even worse, I have encountered a few nurses who would arrive early before anyone else so that if they didn't like their assignment they could argue with the exhausted charge nurse until they caved.

We call those patients "one shifters".

This sounds like it could be on an episode of "kitchen nightmares".

Then you're either the luckiest person ever, or possibly infertile. My boyfriend thought he had a strong pull out game too, that is until we started trying to get pregnant. Turns out neither his pull out game nor his swimmers are actually strong.

I've been working with introducing Pussidion the bully to my landlords cat since November. I let Mr. Squanch into my room a few times a day while Pussidion is sleeping on her shelves (I have cat shelves everywhere). I keep them on opposite sides of the room or put Mr. Squanch up on a high shelf if Puss is on the ground. I keep a very close eye on them or sit between them. I haven't had any fights yet, but Puss makes the angriest noises at him. She is getting less vocal and will go back to sleep when I let him in sometimes but I still don't really trust her. They did finally touch noses last week so I am still seeing progress. I think the biggest thing is not rushing it. Good luck!

I have the soundtrack. I like to sing to it loudly in my car with the windows down, especially at long stop lights.

Someone did the same thing to me once too, so I pulled up my scrub pants to reveal my bilateral knee braces and they shut up.

The best part for me, is because of my anaphylactic allergies, I always get excluded from the "free lunch" everyone else gets. It's just an extra kick in the balls.

"pillowsidon" is also a fickle girl who never purrs and shows her love by being near me more than cuddling with me (she's also still a bitey little jerk-face lol). Cats show affection in different ways, but your kitty is definitely showing you love 😻

I never understand why people can't be kind and polite, especially when they want something extra. Like, if it's up to my discretion to accommodate you or not and you're rude to me, there's no way I will go out of my way to make you happy. Good on you for standing your ground!

Not sure if you shave or not, but I spent 8 months dealing with similar issues until I stopped shaving and switched to mens deodorant.

Aww! Kitty loves you and wants to welcome you into their "cuddle puddle". My one young cat also let me do this, Pussidion. I've recently nicknamed her "pillowsidon" for this exact reason.

Absolutely agree. Fold vs wad is a good point and also no one should ever flush a wipe (or tampon.. I'm not sure why people think this is ok; but my good friend had a huge plumbing emergency and substantial bill as a result of his unaware house guests)!
