old.reddit help? I think it is related to either subreddit settings or stylesheet

I am new to old.reddit and I've just started to update the look/content for that side of our small fan community -- r/WhatIfMarvel -- but there is text that I cannot figure out how to remove. The text is visible on the sub but doesn't appear to be in subreddit settings or edit stylesheet:

"created by SQL-HackerDev a community for 5 years"

This user/community has no connection to our sub anymore. Any assistance is appreciated!

There should be an option to report a subreddit and have an action taken depending on the report

Upvotes

I know there's a lot of automation regarding posting in a subreddit, sometimes that automation is wrong, sometimes mods ban because they have a bad day or whatever. This just creates so many unnecessary problems. Everyone knows a perfectly good account can be ruined this way. Moderators being lazy and arrogant on their end, or even worse taking payment so some accounts can avoid their ruleset, are just one of many things why a report button should exist. I'm not advocating for a subreddit ban this way. I just want for mods of subreddits to take responsibility for what they do, since as of now Reddit is heavily inclined towards mods instead of users who actively try to use those subreddits. That's best shown in the rules of a subreddit, 99% of subreddits barely state their rules and posting requirements. So when a new user comes in he instantly gets banned. There should never be a reason for anyone to come in and not know what's expected of them in a community. Whether that be posting, age, karma requirements, cqs, or whatever. I think if banning reasons are not clearly stated and people get banned for whatever made up reason there is, the subreddit should get reported and if they continue doing the same thing over and over again, get shut down in the end.

Simply put Reddit as of now is absolutely unwelcoming for new people, and that didn't used to be the case. Some changes need to happen. I want to hear other peoples opinions on this

Does Reddit treat moderators who manage only one subreddit differently from those moderate multiple subreddits?

Upvotes

For example, are moderator accounts and the subreddits they oversee considered more sensitive?

There is a problem approving posts that are being held for review.

When I try to approve posts that are being held for review, especially when I try to approve posts that have been in the review section for over 10 hours or more, they do not show up on the front page of the sub.

Changes not showing up in my subreddit

I recently made a few updates to my subreddit, including changing the subreddit name and updating Automod to require certain keywords in posts. However, none of these changes seem to be showing up or taking effect on sub. The automod message isn't triggering, and the new name isn't appearing either. I've double-checked my settings and saved everything. Any idea what could be causing this, or how long changes usually take to reflect? Would really appreciate any guidance or fixes!

Thanks in advance.

Minors at risk of abuse - reporting suggestion

Please note I cant find the flair as suggested to put as Mod Suggestion 🤷‍♀️

There is a way to report self harm, and suicidal thoughts, but no way to quickly report someone who is at risk from others. I am on several neurodivergence groups, and have occasionally struggled to report a minor saying that their parents are abusing them, or threatening violence. For example one person posting that their parent was saying they will beat the autism out of them. Other examples are of people who are suffering domestic violence, particularly an issue when the victim is non verbal under stress.

Why would Reddit remove the "About" option in sub headers on the app? Now the only header link is "Top Members"? I can't imagine a less helpful update. Please add back the About link!

Am I missing something? What is the rationale here? I mod several subreddits mainly using the app, and I used the About link constantly. I frequently directed new or confused (or newly banned) users to just click on the About section to see the rules, and now it's gone. The rules are now buried in "Learn about this community" on the app by clicking on the dropdown menu which is not at all straightforward.

Obviously most users didn't read the rules anyway, but at least it was there to direct them to when explaining rule-breaking behavior. I do not care one single iota about Top Members. It is not helpful at all to new users of a subreddit or Reddit generally. This will not foster good participation on any subreddit. What gives?

How easy is it to accidentally become "inactive" in a low-traffic sub?

I have a sub that averages ~1 submission per week. The trickle of posts is constant, but low. I approve the submissions and sometimes shuffle flairs around but not daily. Am I at a risk of becoming "inactive"? How easily can you make a redditrequest and actually succeed when there's a mod that actively monitors the sub (=me)?

As a part of my duties I've been trying to grow the sub but it's been quiet lately because it's a rather niche topic. I think I've "harvested" most of the folks that are interested in the sub to begin with i.e. I've reached the saturation point. There's a sub that is like "the main hub" which has 100x more members than mine. I'd still rather keep trying to maintain and grow the sub than abandon it altogether.

Morally speaking: if my efforts aren't good enough should I pass it on to someone else, a potentially more enthusiastic person? How would I even go about finding one?

I recruited another long-standing member as a mod but their efforts in growing the sub have also been in vain. In fact now their mod actions are eating away from mine so maybe that recruit was even counterproductive?

AI content combat - AI to flag AI-generated posts?

I know this probably doesn't exist today, but I feel like it's a need that is rapidly approaching, as in.. I don't want AI-generated garbage in my sub. Is there/how could I use AI to detect potentially ai-generated content and flag it for me. Maybe a future automoderator feature? Is there an external tool that can do this?

Changes to Post Flair settings never get saved half the time.

Title. Half the time they don't even save properly despite clicking the save button. You have to reload and open it in a new window to get it working again,

Pretty annoying

What qualifies a user for "Reputation Filter: May be from a spammer or someone likely to break rules"

What user actions make this pop up in the queue? More often than not, when I see it, I can't find anything leading me to believe they are spamming or likely to break rules.
