There should be an option to report a subreddit and have an action taken depending on the report
I know there's a lot of automation regarding posting in a subreddit, sometimes that automation is wrong, sometimes mods ban because they have a bad day or whatever. This just creates so many unnecessary problems. Everyone knows a perfectly good account can be ruined this way. Moderators being lazy and arrogant on their end, or even worse taking payment so some accounts can avoid their ruleset, are just one of many things why a report button should exist. I'm not advocating for a subreddit ban this way. I just want for mods of subreddits to take responsibility for what they do, since as of now Reddit is heavily inclined towards mods instead of users who actively try to use those subreddits. That's best shown in the rules of a subreddit, 99% of subreddits barely state their rules and posting requirements. So when a new user comes in he instantly gets banned. There should never be a reason for anyone to come in and not know what's expected of them in a community. Whether that be posting, age, karma requirements, cqs, or whatever. I think if banning reasons are not clearly stated and people get banned for whatever made up reason there is, the subreddit should get reported and if they continue doing the same thing over and over again, get shut down in the end.
Simply put Reddit as of now is absolutely unwelcoming for new people, and that didn't used to be the case. Some changes need to happen. I want to hear other peoples opinions on this
