Yeah, you can tell OP takes personal offense to those complaints, because they're taking "Wilds is too easy" as some sort of permanent, unchangeable mark levied against the game's identity.
Like, obviously if hard fights were added, those complaints would stop. That's the whole damn point, it wouldn't be "proving anyone wrong" like this lame meme seems to imply lol..
Luckily, judging based off people's reactions, Tempered Mizu and Zoh Shia may indeed be ramping up the challenge. Certainly excited to hop into that.
I think what people are getting at is that this does reinforce the Monster Hunter cycle. Where the game releases easy, they complain it’s too easy, then the challenge comes in TUs and the complaints stop. It’s a response to those who thought Wilds will never be challenging or difficult.
I feel like Wilds has been objectively easier than every other previous title (aside from Rise maybe). The wound system is absolutely busted. We'll see if the game actually does feel difficult when harder fights are added, but I wouldn't be surprised if they still felt easier than previous iterations in past titles.
For me it’s a complaint about the title update system as a whole. How shit is modern gaming that you can genuinely release an unfinished game which doesn’t live up to expectations but, it’s ok!!! Because, months after release, they’ve now added a small amount of adequate quests!!
Your comment doesn’t work for anything pre-world and that’s an issue because a lot of people who are complaining about this had the exact same complaints about world.

Yeah, that's the fucking point. We want the hard fights.
When meme shitters miss the entire point:
