3 months on 0.5 = 37.2 lbs

I lost 37.2 lbs (16.9 kg) in 3 months on 0.5 from day one. The majority of the weight I lost during the first two months. 20.2 lbs during the 1st month, 10.8 lbs during the 2nd month, 6.2 lbs during the third month.

Definitely not, now I want to build up more muscle mass but for that I need to find the time to hit the gym.

Gotta get on the whole foods and protein and don't be afraid to eat more because muscles need it but flesh and HAIR need nutrients too. Sorry if we're coming at you, but some of us know how ugly skinny-fat can be. It takes a few years to reverse skinny muscle loss.

You can do the home training! 100 pickups, 100 sit ups, 100 chin-ups. My brother did this everyday until he could do it all, then built up to 500/day. Never a day in the gym and he looked like a gym rat. People used to ask him ‘where’ he lifted. I think some never believed him when he truthfully explained his ‘lifting routine’.

What's your age, height and starting weight?

And height? I'm trying to get a full picture.

At your age, height, with the already relatively low bodyfat you started at, and losing 1.41 kg on avg is... damn. This does possibly include water and some muscle loss, but still.

Did you do PSMF or any other particular diet?

I just counted calories and other nutrients using a digital scale and an app. I made sure to eat 1200 calories or less. I added supplements and eventually after my first month protein drinks etc as I was afraid of muscle loss too. I didn’t work out and I am not really active.

I'd starve on only 1200. (F 73, 5.3, 132-135 lbs.) I stay slightly higher due to my age it looks better. But eat between 1500-2000 c daily to maintain. Focus on protein and whole foods. You look great, just 1200c seems so low for 5.10 male.

Sounds right, I am eating now a bit more because I don’t want to lose more weight.

Eat a lot more and start lifting some weights.

😬😬😬 1200 calories is way too little for a 5’10” male. Sema shouldn’t be used as a vehicle for disordered eating.

Have you been seeing a doctor too?

I think most Americans docs would say to stay above 160lbs and/or stop use at your height.

Obviously, other countries may differ in this since Americans are far AF.

Gotta count them calories. It ain't as fun as eating whatever you want, but it guarantees success if you do it right

How??? I’ve lost 45 pounds since May 2024 and it took 4 months to lose the first 20. I have 20 more to go. I have lost a lot of muscle even though I lost slowly! I lost inches way before the scale actually moved though.
