News & Discussion moving out from begginer level?

Hey everyone.

I've been trying to make something in Blender for the few past weeks. But it's all just a simple stuff. Of course donut, some character model and a try into animating that has failed.

My main goal is to make realistic characters, environments and well made animations. I'm trying to make a horror videogame inspired by Bloodborne, Outlast and Silent Hill 2.

The last thing that i tried to do was a character similar to Orphan of Kos. But eventually i got nothing. Only few sketches in my sketchbook.

Few days ago on one discord server i've asked about it, and got a response that i should focus on learning and improving sculpting for sucj stuff. But, after some research i got a bit confused. How do i know that this is what i like need to do?

Hope to get help. I really want to learn and make a part in this community.

I Made This Is this good

I know camera movement feels off . I wanted to make like, at first the camera man is bending and adjusting the focus to capture butterfly and when it flies he stands up and rotate to capture the environment but I couldn't able to create the camera movements. I wanted the video to be captured by smart phone, so the shifting of focus when moving.

Sometimes I like modeling historical guns, especially ones I can't find (at least not for free).

To that end, I modeled up a Vickers machinegun and a few variants. Let me know what you think!

If you want to download them for free, you can do so here: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/vickers-machinegun-guns_and_rivets

Solved Backface culling in render?

Is there a way I can render with backface culling? I found one post about using the geometry node, but I can't get that setup to work. It might not work with 4.3. Just want to render as it looks in workbench with backface culling on. Thanks for any advice!

Need Feedback How do i get a job in 3d field

I'm desperately looking for a job in the 3d field. My work is midcore, and I need to add more 3d work, and I don't have any hope left. So, I decided to post my work here

Someone recommend me what kind for work should I add or what to do with my profile

I currently don't have money to buy new software and learn it to add it to my portfolio
All I know is Blender. I can model, texture, and UV unwrap 3d models

Please do tell me what to do or recommend me to someone

Just finished modeling this modern 3D vase and wanted to share it with the community! I went for a sleek, minimalist look with some subtle curves to keep it interesting. What do you think of the design? Any suggestions for tweaks or improvements? I’m open to feedback!

If you want to print it, I sell the design on cults : https://cults3d.com/fr/mod%C3%A8le-3d/maison/sillage-modern-vase
