Has anyone had issues with loose or rattling hubcaps? I have the black hubcaps on my 2016 Challenger sxt+, Are these held on with clips or by the lug nuts? Any advice, tips or fixes to prevent them from coming loose?
I’ve been doing some research on aftermarket throttle body’s and have been getting a lot of different nt answers. Do yall think TBs are worth it and any recommendations for brands/products ideally 85-87mm

Ill be using this to tow a 7500lb camper every other week as well as a daily driving work truck. I drive roughly 100 miles a day for work. Ive heard the Zf trans trumps the ford trans by miles but what about the 5.7 over the 5.0?

Hello,
I finalized the purchase of a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan with 138k miles this past week. I'm hoping for it to be a reliable family transport van for my wife. So far, here are the repairs/maintenanc I've done;
I had been reading that the factory brakes are too small for the vehicle and have a tendency to wear quickly. The rotors were warped so I replaced them with drilled/slotted rotors to help prevent overheating and abnormal wear.
My big concern is that it does have the typical engine tick from bad rocker arms and/or lifters, and it seems like a really expensive repair. (Probably a bit beyond my depth to replace myself too, so I'd have to outsource it)
I did purchase the van from a family member for a pretty reasonable price, under the KBB estimate for a private trade. However, I'm nervous it's not going to hold up very long without having the tick repaired. If this was your vehicle, wwyd? Sell it? Fix it? Drive it as-is until it inevitably blows up? How long do these generally last with unrepaired engine tick?
Thanks in advance!

I'm thinking about buying it, I have the money in hand but already researching I have realized that there are many bad experiences with that type of car and well I have the money to buy the car and not much else

Bought it for 200 bucks down in Arkansas and saved it from the scrap yard, with title in hand I got it running and had it transported up to pa, fixed the small issues it had and have been driving it all over, It's an LE truck with the 3.9 magnum and a 4spd with OD to back it up, it looks rough on the outside but it's more reliable then half the cars I see around here, it ain't pretty but that's just how I like it.

is that true?
Just got the alert on my dashboard yesterday for high temperature. It was reading 255 and I was driving around 80MPH on the highway. Totally normal speed and I normally don't run the engine hard. Looks like if I exceed 70MPH the temperature hits 245.
My question is where should I be looking for a fix? I'm assuming it's not supposed to be at 235-240 at an Idle.
I have a 2019 Dodge Charger SXT and the rubber piece under the front bumper is coming off. Does anyone know what this is called? I tried googling curb protector bumper protector etc and can't find it.

Hello. Does anyone know why my car is shaking like this. I drive fine for about 15-30 minutes and then the traction control light turns on and then the shaking starts shortly after. But if I turn my car off and start it back on the traction control lights are off and the cycle repeats.
Thank you in advance to everyone.

So I have an old dakota (2003, crew cab, awd/4x4, 5.9 v8, slt), and I was wondering if they made a 4x4 r/t, or what the differences are between an r/t and a normal one are? What parts can I steal off of an r/t and add to my truck?

What do you think? Diff oil seems to be silverfish. When you hit the pedal hard from 0 you feel a bit of a hit when the gear kicks in. According to the mechanic he thinks this has LSD but it’s open actually. Time to look for someone who knows this stuff?
Thanks!
