Discussion The last two games you played are merged together. What does it look like?
The last two I played were Hollow Knight and Stray. I feel like the knight's mask might have a cat shape and has tones of orange. B-12 would be a combination of the glowing womb charm and itself. The enemies would have one eye. Another weird thing for enemies would be is that the Radiance took over their bodies, but for their weakness is light. The levels would also look like a mix of buildings with Hollow Knight's color scheme. NPCs would be both insect and robot like(yes, I know that sounds perplexing). Anyway that's it.

Discussion Top 3 Video Game Protagonists?
Who are your top 3 video game protagonists? Can be for any reason. These are mine:
Joel
Ezio Auditore
Arthur Morgan
Joel and Arthur each had a big impact on me and I have never been more affected by any 2 characters in any medium like I was with them. I grew up playing Ezio and he was a big part of my childhood.

Question What games did you give up on, but ended up loving after giving them another shot?
As the title explains, what were the games that you played that started off extremely rough to the point where you didn't want to play it again. However, after giving it some second thought, you decided to play through it again and didn't stop playing it because it was that good?
For myself, these are some of the games that I gave another shot:
Dark Souls - I didn't really understand the mechanics and I ended up dying way too quick because I was not fully prepared nor was I fully informed. After giving it another shot, I had watched several small tutorials on what I should do to get stronger and I ended up playing through the rest of it. Funny story, but when I started playing Dark Souls, I immediately stopped just so I can beat Demon's Souls first because I thought they were connected.
Fallout 3 - I felt the action was a little terrible and the exploration a little dull. But after a while, I figured I just grind through the game so I can make things easier. The more quests are started completing and realizing how complex the dialogue decisions were, the more engaged I was. The DLC was by far the best thing about this game, especially the ending to The Pitt.
Eternal Darkness - My friend played through this game first. After he beat it, I borrowed it and wasn't really enjoying it. I mentioned how I was going to return it to him because I didn't like it, but he insisted that I keep playing. Sure enough, I trusted his word and started loving the story of the game even more. I just wished there was an actual sequel...

Discussion 32 year old gamer here’s my top 25
It’s in no order just 25 games that held a special place with me over the years.

Other I'm a 47 year old gamer. Here is my top 25.
These are in order. Since my gaming spans nearly 4 decades, it's really difficult to nail this list down. It's really easy to neglect older titles, but I tried not to do this.

Question Got any games I should try?
Got a ps4 in 2025, and have been really enjoying it.
Games I have played include over watch 2, Mortal Kombat X, and 11, middle earth shadow of war, witcher 3, star wars battle front, borderlands 3, elden ring, the hunter call of the Wild, Rocket League, Batman Arkham All 3 of them, Jedi Fallen order (but it runs like shit), the finals, and last but not least Fortnite.
Got any “must try games?”

Discussion What are your thoughts on violence in gaming?
I'm not a psychopath, but I've always found abhorrent violence in games to be relaxing. Games like DOOM and God of War feel really good to play when I need to work off some stress. Lopping off a head or two does wonders for it. My dad on the other hand, thinks it causes people to become desensitized, and ignore violence when it occurs in front of them. We've argued countless times about this, but never come to an agreement.
It was the impossibility of the violence in the aforementioned games that made me look at it a little more light heartedly. Agreed, there's blood, guts, and body parts flying everywhere, but you don't have a 6 foot fucker killing thousands of demons and gods with comically inaccurate shotguns, chainsaws, whatever the Blades of Chaos are, or even an axe in the real world. It is all exaggerated to an extreme, and that us solely for entertainment purposes.
This post is not about me and my father, but rather me wanting to know the general opinion on violence in gaming. Please let me know, I'm planning to make a game, and need to determine the general tolerance level. Thank you in advance.

This level definitely gave me pause.
