If you could go anywhere (in America) for a girls trip, where would you go?
 in  r/AskWomenOver30  23h ago

I recommend Charleston, Kiawah Island, Hilton Head, or Savannah for a girls trip

I love build a bears too, matching outfits is such a cute idea! I like to wear mommy & me outfits with my cat and American Girl dolls

What age did you meet your husband?
 in  r/Marriage  23h ago

I was 18, and he was my first boyfriend ever

My thoughts on Season 3 as an autistic person.
 in  r/LoveOnTheSpectrumShow  1d ago

I have autism and I’ve always been obsessed with my stuffed animals and dolls, and up until reading a lot of the comments here I didn’t consider that to be childlike. I think kids and adults can both get enjoyment out of playing with their toys, and I don’t think it’s uncommon either

Anyone else borderline agoraphobic?
 in  r/AutismInWomen  1d ago

I am. I work from home, so I only leave the house for pre-planned activities. And I have to hype myself up for days in advance to be able to go. If I have to spontaneously leave the house for something, it sets me off. I also have to have my husband with me anytime I go out, if I have to go into a store I can’t do it alone

The Pitt’ Season 2 Will Take Place On A Holiday Weekend, Producer Reveals – Contenders TV
 in  r/ThePittTVShow  1d ago

My mom has been an OR nurse for over 40 years and she always tries to take the 4th off these days. She said she’s over reattaching people’s blown off fingers 😅

How do we feel about Love on the Spectrum
 in  r/AutismInWomen  1d ago

Overall, I like it. Madison from the newest season is super similar to me, so it’s nice to see some representation

Almost 9 years in, pretty sure it's never happening
 in  r/Waiting_To_Wed  2d ago

You’ve already shown him that you’re not a good wife, why would he sign up to be the victim in round 2?

Men (and women) who have proposed how long did the whole process take?
 in  r/Waiting_To_Wed  2d ago

I met my husband when I was 18, and he was 20. We got very serious very quickly, and started talking proposal/marriage timelines immediately. Like within hours of meeting. We were both on the same page about getting engaged & married young. About a year and a half after we met, he lavaliered me. A year after he lavaliered me, he proposed. That was the summer after his 1L year, and we had been together for 2.5 years total. We had a 2.5 year engagement, because we had to finish college & grad school before the wedding. So it took us 5 years total to make it down the aisle. Now we’ve been together for almost 9 years, married for almost 4

Do some of y’all have genetic ADHD?
 in  r/adhdwomen  2d ago

I’m adopted and AuDHD, and everyone in my family is very neurotypical. I can’t relate to people who have it in their family either

I can't believe they did it
 in  r/LoveOnTheSpectrumShow  3d ago

I have autism, and a big focus of therapy when you have autism is not engaging in negative self talk. It’s very easy for our brains to fixate and get stuck in a loop of negative self talk, so learning how to identify the negative thoughts and replace them with positive ones is huge. It’s nice to see it reinforced at home as well throughout the show

He did you all react to the weight talk with your SO?
 in  r/AskWomenOver30  3d ago

I mean the OP says she knows why it happened, she likes McDonald’s and wine too much. It’s not a run to the doctor and test for everything situation. But, telling your life partner they “let themselves go” after 30 pounds is crazy

Do people in our generation not live on their own without a boyfriend, girlfriend or roommate like previous generations did?
 in  r/OlderGenZ  3d ago

I’ve never lived on my own. I went straight from living in my childhood home to my husband’s house at 18

He did you all react to the weight talk with your SO?
 in  r/AskWomenOver30  3d ago

It’s very normal for women’s weight to fluctuate 10 pounds throughout the month, so 30 pounds really isn’t that wild in the scheme of things. It’s like 1-2 pant sizes at most, that’s not really what I would consider a weight problem

My brother and his fiancée asked my wife and I to be in their wedding party, but I feel like it was done out of pity as my wife is disabled due to ALS
 in  r/wedding  3d ago

It’s very traditional and standard to include siblings in the wedding party. I see it more often than not, and that’s what I did at my wedding

1

I get it. Who could possibly like the idea of crushing $2 pimento cheeses and $5 beers at Augusta with your boys? What a heinous thought!
 in  r/masters  3d ago

Yeah the pimento is great, I always get at least a couple, but the egg salad or chicken salad are my favorites

What should I change on my profile to get more matches?
 in  r/Bumble  3d ago

I’m a 27 year old Disney adult and I think his profile looks accurate to his interests. It can be tidied up a bit but he has a solid start. I definitely think his match is out there for him!

When did you peak in life?
 in  r/AskWomenOver30  3d ago

I’m 27 and there’s been different points throughout my 20’s that I thought were my peak at the time, but I’ve recently realized I haven’t hit it yet. Everything just keeps getting better and better - my career, my looks, my style, my marriage, etc.

Shoutout Tyler!
 in  r/LoveOnTheSpectrumShow  3d ago

I’m 27 and I have autism and I still LOVE American Girls, I actually just ordered a new one yesterday. My husband is so supportive of all of my stuffed animals and dolls, there are definitely more men out there like Tyler!

He did you all react to the weight talk with your SO?
 in  r/AskWomenOver30  3d ago

My weight and my husband’s weight have both fluctuated wildly in the 9 years we’ve been together, and there’s been no “weight talk” on either side. 30 pounds is basically nothing.. your husband doesn’t sound great

How does anyone actually afford for a wedding?
 in  r/weddingplanning  3d ago

My parents paid for my wedding. I got married super young straight out of college with $0 to my name, so without them there wouldn’t have been a wedding

What’s your current hyper fixation/special interest?

Horses and dresses
