Could it be grits or risotto?

Milk Recommendations (That do not contain nuts or coconut)/ Coffee Recipes
 in  r/whole30  22d ago

Ripple half & half is amazing! Pea protein based, whole30 compliant, free from top allergens and coconut, and the best half & half replacement I have ever come across. It's a little pricey but well worth the expense!

What are these seedlings? They are popping up all over our garden
 in  r/whatsthisplant  29d ago

YMMV. I planted some in my garden a few years ago and it's completely taken over the whole yard now.

Is this a wart or something else?
 in  r/DogAdvice  29d ago

One of my dogs had a benign cyst like that on his leg since the day we got him. For whatever reason one day, it popped and made a bit of a bloody mess and seemed to cause him discomfort when we tried to clean it up. Once it healed, it faded away, only to resurface again a few months later in the exact same place. My understanding is that a vet would have to cut it out and go fairly deep in order to prevent it from ever coming back. Apart from the one time it ruptured, it never bothered him, so we chose to just let it be rather than have it surgically removed. You may want to ask your vet for advice because there's a non-zero chance it could be malignant.

There's at least 4-5x french fries sticking out of the big burgers so this is either edited or AI

TIFU by taking ‘trim the bush’ a little too seriously

Took me until "escaped mole rat" to realize this wasn't about trimming actual hedges

What one song (studio or live) makes you the most emotional? Or gives you that transcendental moment that is unmatched?
 in  r/phish  Feb 27 '25

Scents and Subtle Sounds: the song I want played at my funeral and that comforts me when I think about dying.

The winds would lift you up into the sky above, where you would see a trail of treasured memories you love. A rainbow record of the thoughts and moments you've enjoyed arcs behind the earth as spectral colors in the void... in the void.

What’s wrong with my banana?

Could be a fungal infection

Picked these up at Costco first time trying.
 in  r/fruit  Feb 02 '25

In California the season is summer but I think they are available year-round now from Brazilian growers. Dulcinea has another black grape with concord flavors that's in more limited supply called Candy Dreams available December - January and June.

If you like the flavor of a concord grape but not the texture/seeds, try black jam grapes!

Is this a sign of mold or something else inedible in oranges
 in  r/fruit  Jan 20 '25

If this is a navel orange, that's the secondary fruit that gave rise to its namesake.

what is your tux baby name and the story behind it?
 in  r/TuxedoCats  Jan 19 '25

He is one confident Casanova, but a total bad-boy. His swagger and high-pitched meow are so captivating that we overlook his bad habits like scratching the curtains and peeing in the sink/bathtub. He loves making biscuits on my belly and is a crybaby for the pspsps. He and Lizzie have a similar flash of white on their black faces. We call it his milk dribble and it leads all the way down to his neck diamond. He also has black and pink toe beans and a kink in the last vertebra of his tail. Turning 1 this spring!

Domino (self-explanatory) but we mostly call him Demon-o because he is one.

I didn’t forage these, they were in a free box on the roadside but no mention of what they are? Any guesses?
 in  r/foraging  Jan 19 '25

The largest and slightly bumpy-looking specimens appear to be citron, which will look like the world's most disappointing lemon when you cut open: very large margin of rind and a very small and seedy center of pulp.

The rest appear to have a smoother peel with areas of rosy pink and rounder shape, and are most likely grapefruit.

As others have mentioned, a cross-section photo would give more clues.

The first ones had some sausage and shrimp but every other sandwich after that was basically different versions of the same combination of ingredients
