Once in a life mishap a the range
I went to the shooting range with a friend who was looking to try out some handguns in hopes of finding one he liked, as he was in the process of getting his concealed carry permit finalized. He wanted to get a feel for different models, so I brought a few of mine and we rented some as well. It was a normal afternoon until the unexpected happened. While he was shooting, a spent casing struck the primer of a live round that was still sitting in the box off to the side. The impact caused a round to discharge, sending several rounds flying, scattering plastic and brass shrapnel in all directions. It was a tense moment, Thankfully, my friend walked away with minor scrapes, but it was a stark reminder of the importance of safety and awareness at all times.

Law Before the gun laws were changed in Singapore
Singapore used to allow civilians to get a gun license to own guns and allowed them to keep their guns at home. Singapore used to have forests for hunters to hunt for wild boars and foxes using their rifles. In 1973, Singapore introduced stricter gun laws after experiencing multiple gun attacks. Now gun owners can't bring their guns home and they should keep it inside the gun club even they can't carry it in public. Now gun club is the only place where gun owners can use their guns.

Ruger Mini 30
This was my March purchase. I’ve been after one of these for a while. Had trouble finding a shop that would order this for me due to the fact they don’t realize there’s a ‘Ranch’ version that’s got a non-threaded barrel. This is as close to one of my dream guns (M1 Garand/Carbine) that I’ll get for a while.

Question New to guns, just curious if this is common or if I’m a weirdo?
Friend took me to a range yesterday, only fired a handgun once in Bali nearly 10 years and first time with a bolt-action.
They gave me a right-handed rifle and I automatically put the butt to my right shoulder and used my right eye for the scope. I struggled at first, having never used a scope, but got the hang of it relatively quick. Except for the bolt action. Every time I’d eject the casing and load the new bullet I’d knock myself off course and have to completely readjust to get the back on target.
So, I finish off the box and when getting new rounds I asked if I could just give a lefty a try. I mean, just look at how much tighter my clustering is (I’m pretty proud for my first time).
So my question is; is it common to operate a rifle in a right-handed manner, but with left-handed bolt operation?

Video The ATF is still heinous.
The ATF imprisoning these two men is criminal and malignant. The government claiming a drawing is a machine gun is a heinous abuse of power. They tried to make the AutoKeyCard work and couldn't, it's a total sham that the government can act like this. Any low level of knowledge of firearms would have you understand that. And now a family is broken up over the weaponization of law.

Help! P08 Luger Help
Hey everyone, this might be a stretch, but I was recently gifted this 1993 Mitchell Arms American Eagle P08 Luger. We took it out and shot it quite a bit and it ran flawlessly. Figured it was time to field strip it and clean it up. However I cannot seem to get the take down lever above the trigger to move when depressing the barrel as I’ve seen on videos (Yes I did have the safety off when trying). I don’t know if this model is different but I can’t find anything online for this specific post-war model. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

New Life into an Old Build
Some new life into an exceptionally old rifle build! It’s amazing just how some small changes can make it look new again. Was an old Spikes Tactical Midlength build from like 15 years ago. Swapped out some furniture for contrast. Also swapped in a Geissele Super 42 spring/buffer setup and an LPVO I’ll be testing.

Video Overview of my P365 EDC Ft. the CAT SC and Sig Modx9
Yes, I was messing with AI and it generated the thumbnail. No, I did not climb the Himalayas to take a photo with my p365. If you hate it, you can go vote on which thumbnail you prefer.
I've got about 2500 rounds though the CAT SC on my G19 and this p365. About 1500 rounds through the Sig modx9 on both of those hosts. 4500 rounds on the P365 in total and I haven't had to replace anything.
It's been an interesting experience shooting a legacy suppressor next to the CAT Street Crack. I always thought the back pressure was bad on the Sig modx9 but the CAT SC really make it look bad.
I bought this before there were all these new variation to the p365 so it had a special place in my heart being direct milled to that Trij RMRCC.
I did just start getting light strikes every other mag but that's just because I've been using the modx9 and shooting 147 grain sub without cleaning for quite some time. I likely just have to clean the firing pin and firing pin channel. The firing pin still looks in good shape. At 5000 I'll replace the recoil spring and trigger springs, I heard the extractor might need replacing around then too.

Missed my target and hit 1/2" steel with PMC X-TAC Green Tip from a 16" barrel at 300yds
The indent was about 1/8" deep and the spalling covered a huge area and made some nasty looking marks

Parts out of USA
Hey, I’m on vacation in the US, and want to buy some magazine extentions for my pistol back in Europe. Does anyone know if I can take them with me form the US without any form, or issues at the airport?
